Sr. Georgette Lehmuth, OSF

Sr. Georgette Lehmuth, OSF has been President/CEO of NCDC since 2001 and served as the administrator of the organization for six months prior to her permanent appointment. Previous to that appointment she served on the Leadership Team of her religious institute, The Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  

Sr. Georgette has been named for nine years by The Nonprofit Times as one of the “Power and Influence Top 50” in the nonprofit sector.  

Sr. Georgette has advocated for religious charitable fundraisers regarding several key legislative issues over her fifteen-year tenure, including postal regulatory issues, charitable deductions for donors, and the extension the IRA charitable rollover. She is also a founding member of The Charitable Nonprofit Coalition, a collaborative group of nonprofits and has also recently served on the Panel of Religious Sector Representatives, of the Senate Commission on Accountability and Policy for Religious Organizations.  Currently she sits on the Board of the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers and the IRA Charitable Initiative.

She has presented for many professional and religious associations, including the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, National Religious Retirement Office, Conference of Major Superiors of Men, Catholic Charities USA, and Catholic Health Association, Catholic Roundtable, Catholic Theological Union, both here and abroad. She is a sought-after presenter on a variety of religious and nonprofit stewardship and mission advancement topics.
