About the Workshop:

What trends and issues in the nonprofit fundraising sector impact the Catholic development community the most? How can we learn from these issues to develop strategic plans that will benefit our mission? Join two recognized leaders in the Catholic philanthropic community as they identify and address these questions in an interactive program that will allow attendees to ask questions and offer their own thoughts on the topic.

Sr. Georgette Lehmuth, OSF
President and CEO
National Catholic Development Conference

Sr. Georgette Lehmuth, OSF has been President/CEO of NCDC since 2001. In this position she leads NCDC in its efforts to promote ethical fundraising and best practice. Sr. Georgette was named by the Nonprofit Times as one of the “Power and Influence Top 50” in the nonprofit sector nine consecutive times.

Previously, Sr. Georgette has served on a number of nonprofit boards and in leadership of her religious order, The Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help of St. Louis, MO. She is currently serving on the board of the Alliance of Non-Profit Mailers and as Treasurer for the Charitable IRA Initiative. In addition to participation in the Charitable Giving Coalition and serving on the Marianist Mission Advancement Advisory Committee, Sr. Georgette also serves on the Board of Directors of the Franciscan Foundation.

Sister has been engaged in postal regulatory and reform issues since she began working for NCDC and has testified before the Postal Regulatory Commission. She also works collaboratively with other charities and nonprofits as an advocate regarding concerns and issues that impact charitable organizations, particularly in the religious sector.

Jack Doyle

Jack Doyle is President of Amergent, NCDC Corporate Partner. Since 1978, Jack has been involved with providing direct mail fundraising and consulting services to a variety of non-profit organizations. He has been a speaker for DMA, NCDC and regional NCDC meetings, most recently speaking about donor-advised funds and how nonprofits can inspire donors to give using these accounts. Jack is a past Board Chair of the Association of Direct Response Professionals (ADRFCO). Previously, he served as a Corporate Partner Representative to the NCDC Board, Chair of the NCDC Lumen Award Committee and as Vice Chair of the DMA Non-Profit Federation. Jack was the 2013 recipient of the NCDC George T. Holloway award for Distinguished Service.
