The Generosity Boom is Here: The New Rules for Fundraising with America's Wealthiest Generation

The Generosity Boom Is Here-1.png

About the Workshop:

The Baby Boomer generation is larger than the previous two generations combined and is entering its peak giving years. This generation controls 80 percent of all wealth and 70 percent of all disposable income in America today. They spend more than any other generation and are already giving a third more dollars to charity than their direct mail loving elders. Learn about the new rules surrounding the generation that has done everything differently from previous generations.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • Why the Baby Boomers and the Next Gens should be the focus of fundraising for the next 20 years.
  • Why the fundraising methodologies and practices of the last century are incompatible with the reality of today’s marketplace.
  • The key paradigm shift that needs to happen to be successful in today’s marketplace — away from transaction-centered donor approaches to relationship-centered donor development.
  • The new rules for fundraising with the generation that is currently upending the fundraising landscape.
